Historical Cufflinks

Historical luxury cufflinks military remembrance WWII, Second World War, British Royal Navy officers’ buttons

World War II (1939-45) Commemorative Cufflinks

These are a beautiful pair of cufflinks made with genuine British Royal Navy (King George VI) buttons from the era of the Second World War, over 80 years ago.  This pair of cufflinks is made from two gilt officers’ (with the roped rim) buttons.  During the Second World War the British Royal Navy was the largest navy in the world with more than 1400 ships and was involved in conflicts right around the world.  The cufflinks are made with a swivel back with an attractive diamond pattern on the swivel.  They are made using smaller pocket buttons from a tunic, perfect in size for cufflinks and are 21 mm in diameter.

They represent a unique part of history and the officers’ gilt buttons are carefully cleaned to retain the original character of the buttons which are approximately 80 years old, whilst highlighting the beautiful details of these original buttons.

This is a truly unique gift and a chance to own a small piece of British Naval and Second World War military history lovingly restored and made into a beautiful pair of cufflinks.  They are presented in a luxury leatherette and velvet box and cardboard sleeve to make them the perfect present (a wooden box is available on request; please message me).
