Antique Arts & Crafts Expanding Sliding Oak Book Rack Egyptian Revival Sphinx & Khopesh. Dated to ca. 1922 after the discovery of King Tut's Tomb. Interesting piece in that it transcends to unique styles - it has a classic Mission Arts & Crafts style but the added Egyptian decorations puts it into the 1920's era. It measures from about 14" to 21" long when fully opened, it is 5 3/4" wide and ends are 5 3/8" high opened. No cracks or chips, ends do not stand perfectly straight when opened but that should be easy to adjust, the finish needs to be cleaned and polished and it has a great aged patina. Please see my 12 photos. Guaranteed a genuine antique bookrack about 100 years old.
