This is the beautiful, rare folk vest - an original part of the bride´s festive costume from Blatnicka - South Moravia. This festive vest is hand made out of the velvet, it is lined with the cotton, it is decorated with the floral hand embroidered silk sash all around, also with lot of tiny metallic sequins, glass beads and with 3 woolen tassels at the back. There are 4 press-buttons in front, but this vest is usually worn closed only on the bottom. Beautiful, authentic Moravian addition to any woman´s or girl´s folk costume or to any folk clothes collection&museum!

Measurements: across the chest (armpit to armpit) - 17" when doubled laying flat on the floor and closed with one press-button on the bottom, shoulder strap to bottom - 16 1/2"

Condition: original c 1930-40´s, very good and wearable, no damage!
