Steinbach Nutcracker #h062 Tyrolean Mountain Climber 17".

This nutcracker is in excellent order and has been part of my nutcracker collection for 30 years.

I lived in Germany in the 1960s and on weekends many families went skiing, walking, hiking or mountain climbing on weekends. It was a joy to be part of their outdoor life. This nutcracker represents this healthy lifestyle.

This well-garbed nutcracker is dressed to hike. He has metal spikes, braided rope, and a pick hammer to tackle the terrain and a walking stick and belted backpack. Edelweiss flowers adorn the walking stick, the backpack and the grey felt traditionally hat. Every piece is in good order. There is some very minor varnish loss on the base as seen in the photo. The base is stamped and the foil seal is intact.

I am finding the priority postage with insurance is higher than I am listing. If this occurs, I expect the buyer to pay the difference. I will do my best to contain the costs and I also cover the cost of all the packing materials. I am just trying to rehome my collectibles and have listed many at or below my cost. If I have overcharged, I will refund the money.
