The analog clock is battery operated by one double a battery, which I will include a new battery for you. The clock is in good working order. Keeps good time. There are no defects to the clock see photos. The clock face is clear and the image colors are bright. The face cover is made of glass not plastic. The glass can be removed for inside cleaning and repair. The outer case is made from plastic. The design is well made. There is a hole on the back to hang on the wall or can lean on a shelf. This clock comes from a non smoking home. The clock measures just under 7” to the outside edge and clock face measures 5 1/4”.
