Vintage black Lacquer Hand Painted Enamel Nesting Boxes with gold guilding. Made in Japan

Beautiful trinket or jewelry boxes each hand painted in fine detail with a landscape, foliage, a Bogota style building and clouds.

Accents of gold throughout. Quality craftsmanship.

The only flaw is seen in photos. The biggest box has a fingernail size chip along the edge which isn't noticeable when lid is on. Other than that they are in excellent condition. They measure 2.5" and 3.5" across and 3.5" and 4.5" tall.
