When our brick-and-mortar store was in business, we were proud to be industry leaders in ethical and fair-trade issues.  We demanded information on the origin of our diamonds years before most jewelers did.  We signed on to the "no dirty gold" pledge and were well-ranked by Earthworks.  And we were proud to carry fair-trade gems by Columbia Gem House for many years!

Here is an understated, timeless ring by the Trigem Design division of Columbia Gem House, purveyor of fair-trade gemstones.  So, you might wonder what exactly is a "fair-trade" gem?  The concept is simple.  Gems are mined with minimal impact to the environment.  Miners and cutters of the gemstones earn living wages and work in safe conditions.  And when possible, some of the proceeds of the sale of the gems are returned to do good for the areas where the gems are produced.  For more information, visit fairtradegems dot com.

This ring features a round, semi-bezel set natural Madeira color citrine measuring 5 mm in diameter with an estimated weight of 0.40 carat.  Columbia Gem House has branded their citrines of this deep hue and from specified locations as Fire Citrine (R).  This gem exhibits dark, strong, reddish orange color with very good eye-clean clarity and is of very good overall cut.  Most all citrines are heated to improve the color, and Columbia Gem House indicates that this gem was indeed treated in this traditionally accepted manner.  Citrine is a November birthstone, but this ring is a joy to own and wear regardless of your birth month!  Look at the video...this really is one of the most spectacularly colored citrines you will ever see; especially in a smallish stone!

There are two round, flush-set natural diamonds set in the shoulders of the ring.  These diamonds average 1.7 mm in diameter with a manufacturer's stated combined weight of 0.04 carat.  These diamonds have an average color graded at H/I and clarity at SI-1 with good overall cut.  The bezel and flush setting of the gems and low profile of the ring makes for a comfortable ring to wear with nothing to catch!

The mounting has a hand-made designer look and feel, done in solid 14 karat white gold.  It is currently finger size 6.5 but is easily sizable by any competent jeweler.  The ring weighs 2.9 grams and is 5 mm wide at the top.  This ring is solid gold and unworn; don't be duped into buying a cheap gold-plated ring or someone else's worn-out castoff!

This ring was originally priced at $850 in our brick and mortar fine jewelry store that closed in 2020.  We are offering the ring for a closeout, buy it now price of just $324.99, and we are including FREE insured priority shipping!  We only have one piece of this description, so it is first come, first served.

The ring includes a Certificate of Authenticity and a Fire Citrine (R) informational leaflet from Columbia Gem House.  We are including a nice little gift box as shown in the images that has a nifty integrated magnetic bow.  We are also including a certificate of appraisal at full retail value to assist you in getting adequate insurance coverage.  The photo here is redacted due to contractual reasons, but your original certificate will be fully signed by our Master Graduate Gemologist Appraiser.

Please look over the information and images carefully.  We are listing it with a return privilege in case something is not accurate in the description, but we really don't want it back since we are now retired and are selling it at a closeout price.  Honestly...please don't ask to return it for some reason already clearly detailed or shown in this very complete listing!  But be confident knowing we have had 100% positive feedback since joining eBay in 2004, and in the fact that our store stocked well-made, quality-inspected jewelry designed for problem-free wear.

Thanks for looking!
