An exceptional hand-blown work of art in glass. This bowl is 3 layers of glass with the inner layer of cranberry with the next layer being white thread banding the cranberry and the final layer of thick clear glass. The detail of the work and the purity of the colors of the glass is masterful. The result is a  "bullicante" 'Summerso" art glass bowl. It weighs almost 5 pounds! It is unsigned but likely Venetian from Murano ?? Barbini art glass.
