These two volumes contain a narrative and pictorial account of Hampton Roads Port of Embarkation during World War II.   The history is illustrated by nearly 400 photographs, six paintings and two maps. The text and illustrations give vivid, authentic, and first-hand accounts of the historic movements of troops, of vital logistical supplies, of prisoners of war, and of the debarkation of wounded.

Quite the significant Capture of Tyme indeed; a very distinctive duo detailing a notable aspect of human history during its most trying times.
