Limoges Trinket Box

Beautiful Limoges trinket/dresser box by Le Tallec. Possibly the finest maker of Limoges boxes is Le Tallec. The pink ground (the ground is the raw material used to color the porcelain) is particularly nice. It’s a beautiful deep shade of pink. Approximately 2”-3”long. It is in perfect vintage condition. This box dates to 1961.

Fresh from a large collection of over 100 fine Limoges boxes from a historic coastal MA estate. The estate is called the Waldingfield in Ipswich, Massachusetts in case you’re interested in seeing it. You can easily Google the estate. Photos including ruler and jewelry are for display only and aren’t included in sale. First photo of box shows it in better natural light than the other photos.
