installation process
1.
Prepare the windows for the tint
to be applied. Use a soapy solution (tap water with soapy solution diluted) to
clean the outside of the windows. This will ensure that there are no
contaminants and these won’t damage the film.
2.
Lay the piece of tint over the
outside of the window and heat- shrink it to the shape of the glass. (Ensure
that the liner is always facing you. Please note that any curved glass will
need to be heat-shrunk using a heat gun).
3.
Prepare and clean the inside of
the glass. This can be done using the same slip solution and pad. You can clean
the inside of the glass few times- this will ensure the glass is clean and
spec-free before installation.
4.
Peal the liner off the tint and
apply slip solution on to the film and glass and lay the film onto a glass.
5.
Firmly squeegee the water out.
6.
Well done- the job is done!
Once the installation is
completed do not roll windows up or down for 3 days and do not switch the rear
window heaters. You can do both after 3 days once the glue and water had
evaporated!
