Get an inspection of your unit before you get stuck on the side of the road.
You must provide your own Fuel distributor Unit to be inspected. This listing is only for an "inspection service" of a fuel distributor that you have sent to us.
Noitem is for sale. No item will be shipped to you other than the return of your old unit that you first sent to us.
This is so simple for you.
Here's how it works...
1. We'll send you a Pre-paid shipping box and instructions for you to send your Fuel Distributor (FD) to us.
2. We'll take pictures of your unit as we took it out of the box.
3. We'll do a visual inspection and note its condition and any issues observed.
4. We'll Flow Test it and take pictures of the testing.
5. We send you a report of what the results were and what, if any work needs to be performed to have in usable condition.
6, After sending you the Test Results, you'll have 48 hours to let us know if you want us to rebuild your unit and the cost of the additional work.
7. If your unit passed the Inspection, we will send your unit back to you within 48 hours.
8. If a Rebuild Service is needed, you will receive a Credit of 50% of the cost you paid (not including Sales Tax and shipping) toward the Rebuild Service. See our listing# 195461414849 for details.
9. We'll send payment instructions for any amount due.
10. Once we have received the additional amount, we will perform a Rebuild Service in typically 3-5 business days.
11. You will receive pictures of the: rebuild, testing, and shipping.
You would be shocked at what you’ll find inside a "Good Used" 25+ year old distributor that other sellers sell. The unit that you see in the pictures actually had a good idle and tested well. Unfortunately, there's lots of the debris inside an old unit and there's no way to tell when some debris clogs an interior passage and leaves you stuck on the side of a road or in the middle of an intersection. Because of this we can no longer, in good conscience, sell "good used" units.
Typically, a mechanic's time is about $120 an hour now. If you factor in the cost you’ll pay for your mechanic to remove and re-install even replacement "used" unit, even an old "rebuilt" unit, you’ll actually have spent the same as if you first purchased a quality rebuilt unit.
We have a better alternative for you. This is Craftsman Level custom work. We do all the work in our workshop. Because we operate on a smaller scale, we can offer a more competitive price with the longest warranties on eBay!

Fittings
Please do not include your fittings when you ship your unit to us. We have all the fittings that we will use to test your unit. As an option for you, we can polish your fittings (up to 7) for an additional charge of $39. Only include them if that is what you want. Payment instruction will be provided for the polishing service.
