Vintage Advertising Puzzle, Seagram’s 5 Crown, One of My Best, Good Box, 1930s

This is one of my favorite puzzles in my large collection. It is an advertising puzzle for Seagram’s blended whiskey. I believe it is from the 1930s. This is an irregular-shaped puzzle with much interest and activity. It says, “Toughness-Out Pleasure-In.” It touts Seagram’s body, richness, smoothness, lightness, and flavor.

The puzzle, at its widest, measures 15½ x 14 inches. It has about 277 pieces. The pieces are both interlocking and non-interlocking. It is missing ONE piece toward the bottom right.

The puzzle condition is excellent. The colors are bold and the characters are amusing. The puzzle shape is unusual and rare. The puzzle box has a great 1930s look with some wear, but intact corners. The box shows a businessman and says, “Puzzled Over a Profit-Problem?” I guess a few shots will solve your business problems.

This puzzle is shrink wrapped onto artist foam board and is photographed through the shrink wrap. For shipping, the puzzle will be disassembled, put in a plastic bag, then into the puzzle box, then into a shipping box. The foam board will not be included.

Since there is no photo on the box and no photo insert, I can include a print of my photo, if you’d like.

I am in the process of selling a large and varied vintage puzzle collection.

Please message me with any questions or need for more photos. I keep shipping as low as I can, and I ship carefully and promptly.
