Rare Museum Catalogues - 1951 thru 1983 - $5 each

Funky Christmas /Everyday Funky

These books etc. come from my father-in-law's estate. We have an entire weaving and yarn shop inventory to sell that was filled to the brim.

These books were found in a locked glass bookcase in my father-in-law's yarn shop. Like new; almost perfect.  Specific information found below.  Pages are sharp and clean.  No marks or highlighting in text except for noted below.  Cover lies flat.  Some color photographs.  Illustrated, collectible,1st editions.

Americas Magazine - July/August 1982 - Pre-Columbian Treasures of Costa Rico.  Excellent condition.  Spine is unbroken, Some color photographs, the rest are black and white.  Cover is normal wear and tear. Overall excellent condition.

What Abstract Art Means to Me by the Museum of Modern Art - Volume XVIII No 3 Spring 1951.  This brochure is smaller than the others measuring 7.5 by 10 inches.  The front and back cover have what appear to be age spots.  See pictures.  Inside is perfect. Black and white photographs.

Forest, Prairie and Plains: Native American Art from the Chandler/Pohrt Collection - Detroit Institute of Art - 1983.  Excellent condition but there is a change in color at the top of the front cover (see picture).  I can't tell if it's art or something else.  Pages are undamaged so I'm leaning to some sort of artistic statement. Black and white photographs.

Note: While we do not expect a run on these catalogues, if so, the first person who buys the piece gets it.  The listing will remove items that are no longer available.  Thanks!

Note: The competition to these magazine listed on eBay seem to be in a less mint condition and are going for much more than we are asking.  Right now, we are pricing things to MOVE, just to get them out of the house, so we can move more bulky items in  their place.  We are running out of room.  Please consider searching golem451, in the upper right corner of this page, to see what other items we have that are priced to move, and to see if you might want to buy something to add to your collection while saving $$$ on shipping. Thank you for your consideration.
