Hello, up for auction is a rare and interesting antique French door knob handle. Victorian era handle created with great attention to details. Cast brass with chrome plated finish. Featuring figurative Putti Cherub in acanthus leaves,  holding  a stick, on the other side T handle in geometric pattern. Connected on square, T handle is removable; the cherub is with applied square. No markings. 

Found at an estate sale in Paris, not sure for its age or history other than it came from an estate of a world traveler and antique collector.
