British Army 4th/7th Dragoon Guards 4/7DG Cap Badge, Collar Badges and Shoulder Titles in Anodised Aluminium (Staybrite). Cap Badge in silver colour with slider maker marked DOWLER BIRMINGHAM in small font (see photos).  Pair of collar badges in silver coloured anodised aluminium with issued brass backing plates and split pins.  Pair of 4/7RDG shoulder titles in gold anodised with lugs, issued brass backing plates and split pins.

Anodised Aluminium (Staybrite) badges and buttons were first issued in the 1950s and, although many are still current, badges in 'New Metal', a few with enamels, were introduced for some new Corps and Regiments from the 1990s.

These sets are ideal to frame with a veteran's photos and medals as a visual record of loyal service to the Crown.

I have been collecting for more than 60 years. I am selling spares and duplicates from my own collection plus a few extra items picked up at militaria fairs, in auctions and eBay lots. My aim is to to encourage new collectors! All items are in my opinion genuine unless specifically described otherwise or as reproduction. Full refund given on returned items, buyer pays return postage. Badges are carefully packed in new or recycled padded envelopes.  Your feedback to indicate that the item has been received and is satisfactory would be most appreciated.
