Here is a really unique ladies ring featuring a checkerboard cushion cut genuine blue topaz and 12 round, natural unenhanced genuine diamonds.  It is big, bold, and beautiful...a real attention grabber!  The center topaz is a light "Swiss" or "American" blue color; a little darker in tone than a sky blue.  It measures 8.0 x 8.0 mm.  Since it came from the manufacturer already mounted, we don't have an exact weight, but it should be around 2.70 carats in weight.  Blue topaz is very popular as a fashion color or as a December birthstone.  Blue topaz is virtually always irradiated at low levels to induce the color; these gems are then "cooled", so they are completely safe to wear.

The ring is from the well-established Chicago based wholesaler Berco, style number 15-430/BTE.  I don't know if it was manufactured in Chicago or imported; they do both.  There are 12 round, natural, unenhanced, full brilliant cut diamonds with a combined weight of 0.12 carat.  These diamonds are set in pinpoint prongs nearly flush in side bars of the mounting, and are graded at J/K color and SI-2 clarity with good overall cut.

This is a substantial weight mounting in 14 karat solid white gold; the ring weighs 5.7 grams.  At today's gold prices, the scrap gold value alone of this ring is over $265!  Even if you tire of the ring down the line, at this price you'd be able to get most of your money back out of it from any fair jewelry buyer!  This ring is solid gold and unworn; don't be duped into buying a cheap gold-plated ring or someone else's worn-out castoff!  It is currently finger size 6.75 but is easily sizable by any competent jeweler.

This ring was priced at $795 in our brick and mortar fine jewelry store that closed in 2020.  And just making this listing it is apparent to us that this is very underpriced in today's market.  We are offering the ring at a closeout buy it now price of just $339.99 and we are including FREE insured priority shipping!  We are including a nice little gift box with a nifty integrated magnetic bow as shown in the images.  We only have one piece of this description, so it is first come, first served!

We cannot lower the price any more on this ring because by the time we figure eBay selling fees and postage, we are already selling it for scrap gold melt value plus salvage on the gemstones!  And if the price of gold continues to rise, we will have to raise the price on this listing!

We are also including a certificate of appraisal at a current retail value to assist you in getting adequate insurance coverage.  Because of the ring being underpriced in today's market, we are making the rare decision to appraise it for more than our last ticketed price.  The photo here is redacted due to contractual reasons, but your original certificate will be fully signed by our Master Graduate Gemologist Appraiser.

Please look over the images carefully.  We are offering it with a return privilege in case we have not described something correctly, but we really don't want it back since we are selling it at a closeout price and are now retired.  Honestly...please don't ask to return it for some reason that is already clearly detailed or shown in this very detailed listing!  But you can buy with confidence knowing that we have maintained 100% positive feedback since joining eBay in 2004, and in the knowledge that our store carried well-made, quality inspected jewelry designed for years of problem-free wear.

Thanks for looking!
