VINTAGE 1958 Fisher Scientific Company Laboratory Flow Meter PARTS WITH CASE - sold as is for parts or repair, this does not include the actual flow meter, but parts used with it.

I know nothing about this very rare item.  I found this information through Google (and it is all that is available online and could not refer to this exact item, but should be used as a general reference as to how it functions):

Title Fisher Scientific Company Laboratory Flow Meter
Provenance From Fisher Scientific Co. Catalog 59, 1958, page 522: "Measures liquid flow from 0.025 cc to 2100 cc per minute and gas flow from 2 cc to 38,000 cc per minute. This wide range is accomplished with four interchangeable tapered glass flow tubes, two black glass and 4 aluminum ball floats. The gas or liquid entering at the bottom of the tapered flow tube raises the calibrated ball from its resting place until the downward force of the ball is balanced by the upward force of the fluid or gas. The position of the ball is read from the scale engraved on the glass tube, and rate of flow is read from the series of graphs supplied."
