This listing is for a 4-digit (i.e. quad) 14-segment LED display, controllable over I2C (D = data, C = clock, Vi2c = I2C voltage: 3.3 V or 5 V). It is a clone of ADA2160 sold by Adafruit. It uses the HT16K33 LED driver and takes 5 V. The I2C logic can accept 3.3 V or 5 V (connect Vi2c to the desired voltage to set the voltage expected by the HT16K33. While the display itself can run on 3.3 V, it will be much dimmer.

The height of the digits is 0.54” or 13.8 mm. Note that the four digits are comprised of two two-digit displays mounted next to each other and there is therefore no colon in the centre of the display.

The default I2C address is 0x70. This can changed by bridging the solder pads on the back of the PCB, yielding an address from 0x70 to 0x77.

The PCB dimensions are approximately 50 mm x 27 mm.

Delivery

Orders will be dispatched within one business day, using recycled packaging wherever viable.

By default, all orders are dispatched by Royal Mail Second Class/RM48. If your order is needed urgently, you are encouraged to select an upgraded postage option, such as First Class/RM24 or Royal Mail Special Delivery, during checkout.

Some areas of the UK have experienced a degraded level of service from the Royal Mail with deliveries as infrequently as once per week or worse. If you are currently affected by this, please contact me before ordering to discuss the possibility of using an alternative courier service.
