Here is a handsome antique map of Part of North Adams, from the Atlas of Berkshire County, published in 1876 by F. W. Beers. The map is approximately 23.5 inches by 16 inches. Hand colored.

This is NOT a reproduction. This map was printed in 1876.

It shows the area of Main Street, from Brown St./Rd. to Vincent Avenue, with Church Street at the center of the map. On the north, Freeman Grove and Hudson Street; on the south, Chestnut Street and Cherry Street.

Most houses on this map are identified by the property owner's name. Also shown, Drury Academy, Freeman Mfg. Co. Print Works, churches schoollhouses, Cotton Yarn Mill, Shoe Factory, Richmond House, Hoosac Tunnel Office, Ballou Hotel, Tunnel, Passender Depot, Freight House, Lumber Yard, Blacksmith Shop, Blanchard Hoster Marble Works, Tannery, etc.

This interesting old maps would make a great gift for anyone interested who owns one of the houses shown on this map.

I ship maps flat on a 200 lb test cardboard backer, in a clear plastic sleeve, in a 200 lb test corrugated folder, so they will travel safely!
