Dress up your table or mantle with this Waterford hurricane candle holder in the Lismore pattern introduced in 1952. Featuring a series of criss cross cuts beneath a line of vertical cuts, the Lismore pattern is paired here with an elegant brass base to hold a tea light or small candle approximately 40mm in diameter, or a taper candle with a base of 20mm. The base is 3 1/4 inches tall with a 4 3/4 inch tall crystal shade; the base is 3 3/8 inches in diameter, with the shade measuring approximately 4 inches at its widest point. The glass shade has the Waterford name etched on the bottom in a gothic script, with the old seahorse logo and Waterford Crystal printed on the bottom of the base. There are no cracks, chips, or repairs; wear appropriate to age and use may be present, including some minor wear to the felt on the bottom of the brass base. Sometimes, depending on your location, Priority Mail is feasible at the amount paid, in which case your item will be shipped that way. If you feel the shipping charge is too high, contact me prior to bidding, and I may be able to make an adjustment. If you would like your item shipped by another method (UPS, FedEx, etc), contact me and I will try to accommodate your request. We are happy to combine items to reduce shipping when it doesn't compromise the safety of the items being shipped. Handling:
Each item is carefully packaged to ensure safe arrival at its destination. With the cost of boxes, bubble wrap, peanuts, tape, etc., I often spend more on shipping/handling than the buyer is charged. I usually ship within two business days of the close of auction. I will notify you if it will run later than that for any reason.
