Santa Maria Aquamarine is the finest Aquamarine that has ever been mined.

This is the original Brazilian Santa Maria Aquamarine Aquamarine from the legendary Minas Gerais de Itabira mine. This original mine that gave birth to the name Santa Maria Aquamarine is now exhausted & the stone is mined out.

These stones are certified by the GTL as pure blue. The only Aquamarines known as double blues because the secondary colour is blue , not yellow or green.

Some other mines around the world are calling their Aquamarines Santa Maria because of their colour but they are not from the Minas Gerais mine & are not pure blues.

Kaori pearls are seed pearls & are the rarest pearls available on the market

These cultured seed pearls are formed with the accidental help of a loose piece of tissue in the mollusc. Not farmed ie (they don't have an artificial man made bead at the centre) they are accidentally found in the same shell as a farmed pearl. They are natural pearls created as a by-product of farmed pearls. Seed pearls are a feature of high end jewellery going back to Carl Fabergé & were used lavishly on the famous Fabergé eggs.
