It is a first edition, first printing, with a copyright date of 1952, and published by The Macmillan Company. It is in very good condition, with some wear at the corners and edges, but the spine and binding are good, although beginning to loosen, and all 472 pages including index are intact and in good condition, with only a few handwritten comments, notations, and underlined passages within the book. It is a nice book and would be wonderful for anyone studying or interested in Seventeenth Century Verse and literature. It is a wonderful old book…
