Rare all metal star emblem from a 1972 350SL. Condition per photos, with lights signs of wear. This sat in a box since 1992, waiting for its owner to be restored, which never happened.
The early R107 and C107's had this beautiful, all metal star, but due to cost cutting, Mercedes switched to the ugly, cheap plastic ones in 1974. There is no comparison between this star and the later plastic ones. Same fitment makes it an easy swap.
