Beans are excellent sources of Vitamins K, C, A and Manganese. They are also good sources of potassium, folate, tryptophan(One of the little known benefits of beans is that they contain tryptophan. Tryptophan helps with sleep and without sleep none of us will stay well for long), iron, magnesium, B2, copper, B1, calcium, phosphorus, protein, omega 3 fatty acids and B3. 


One of the easiest ways to guarantee germination of your seeds is to soak them in water for few days. Germinating seeds in water can increase germination rate as well as cut down potential diseases. In colder climate start germination process 3 weeks early. Germinated seeds plant in a small container with well drained soil and transplant once the weather warms up.

Long beans are prefer full sun and aggressive climbers, so plant accordingly. Use organic matters for fertilizer.
