This
kickstand spring is the UPDATED spring per the NHTSA recall on the
2004-2005 Big Dog models and used on all Big Dog 2006-2011 models.
If your Big Dog is within the 2004-11 year range and you use a different spring, you risk over stretching the springs and your kickstand can come disconnected and fall down while riding.
