MANEKI NEKO/ZHAO CAI MAO ~ With one of its front paws raised as a sign of welcome, the Maneki Neko (Japanese) is known as “welcoming cat” or “beckoning cat”. In China it is named Zhao Cai Mao, which translates as "the cat that brings fortune". Adopting this fortuitous cat and its many believed virtues can bring you luck, happiness, health and above all wealth and prosperity in your home, office or business. Zhao Cai Mao can be found in China towns throughout the world. You can see many businesses exhibiting Zhao Cai Mao in their store entrances or on their sales counters to attract this prosperity. The history of the legendary cat dates back to the Edo period of Japan, somewhere between 1600 and 1868. The lucky cat has also served as a muse for many feline characters such as Hello Kitty, Miaouss Pokémon and the famous samurai cat Hikonyan. The Maneki Neko has also inspired a wide range of manga and anime, fictional characters in electronic games and art.

THE PIG: There are twelve Chinese horoscope signs. The pig is the last of the twelve animals in the Chinese zodiac animal circle. According to the theory of the Five Elements, the zodiac sign pig can be divided into 5 types. They are the metal pig, the wood pig, the water pig, the fire pig, and the earth pig. Pigs have a beautiful personality and are blessed with good fortune in life. Their chubby faces and big ears are signs of good fortune. With a round and fat face, the Pig is the symbol of wealth, felicity, honesty, and practicality in Chinese zodiac culture. Many Chinese piggybanks are made pig-shaped as people believe Pig invocation will bring good luck monetarily.

TIGER'S EYE: associated with a host of healing properties; such as bringing insight into complex situations, protecting us from negative energies, deepening mental clarity, attracting good luck, grounding and centering personal energy, and dispelling fears. It helps us to see ourselves and the world better. It is an intense yet well-grounded natural gemstone, said to enhance psychic and empathic energies, while protecting its wearer with an unblinking eye.

♡ All bracelets come with instruction tips on how to best care for your stretch bead bracelet.

HANDCRAFTED JEWELRY ~ Bracelets are constructed one at a time and therefore no two will be exactly alike. Due to variations in both materials and sourced supplies, slight imperfections are to be expected. Natural beads and stones often contain flaws, blemishes, variations and inclusions. I always do my best to accurately reproduce the designs portrayed in my shop. Please note also that photography presents differently on varying devices.

♡ CARE INSTRUCTIONS ♡
Your stretch bracelet is handcrafted to be strong and lasting, but elastic, stones, beads and metal plating are not eternal. Natural wear and tear will also affect your jewelry. By following these simple tips, however, you can maintain your jewelry’s beauty for as long as possible:

> DO NOT GET YOUR BRACELET WET ~ Keep your jewelry away from moisture. It is best to remove your bracelet before washing your hands, showering, exercising and swimming since contact with moisture can break down the elastic, ruin finishes and tarnish metals and charms.
> AVOID CONTACT WITH CHEMICALS ~ Perfume, soap, moisturizer, lotion, hand sanitizer or other chemicals can weaken the elastic, harm natural crystals and result in the discoloration and peeling of beads and gemstones.
> AVOID HEAT EXPOSURE ~ Leaving your bracelet in sunlight or exposed to heat for an extended period of time may lead to elastic erosion and can cause beads and metal to discolor. Remove your bracelet while exercising.
> ROLL IT ON AND OFF ~ Do not over-stretch your bracelet! It has been made with pre-stretched elastic. Over-stretching it beyond its capacity will cause it to break. To keep from overly stretching it to put it on and off, slide your fingers into the bracelet first, then gently roll the beads over your knuckles and then onto your wrist. Do the same when taking your bracelet off.
> STORE SAFELY ~ Always store your jewelry safely in a soft pouch or secured in a box or drawer. Never wear your jewelry to bed and remove when sleeping.

The jewelry for sale in my shop is handcrafted with small components and is therefore unintended for children. LotusByLina assumes no liability for injury, medical issues, or death resulting from irresponsible product use.
