Historical cufflinks military remembrance Queen Victoria Boer War Duke of Wellington’s Regiment buttons

Victorian Commemorative Cufflinks

These are a beautiful pair of cufflinks made with genuine British Queen Victoria Duke of Wellington’s (West Riding) Regiment buttons from the era of the Boer Wars during the end of the nineteenth century, approximately 120 years old.  This pair of cufflinks is made from two stunning brass buttons of the Duke of Wellington’s (West Riding) Regiment.  The Duke of Wellington’s were involved right through Second Boer War, in South Africa.  The cufflinks are made with a swivel back with an attractive diamond pattern on the swivel.  They are made using smaller cuff buttons from a tunic, perfect in size for cufflinks and are 20 mm in diameter.

They represent a unique part of history and the brass buttons have been carefully cleaned to retain the original character of the buttons which are approximately 120 years old, whilst highlighting the beautiful details of these very rare original buttons.

This is a truly unique gift and a chance to own a small piece of Victorian/Edwardian military history lovingly restored and made into a beautiful pair of cufflinks.  They are presented in a luxury wooden cufflink box and cardboard cover to make them the perfect present.
