This camera "Semi Pearl" was produced in 1938 (Showa 13) by the manufacturer called Konishiroku. Konishiroku is no more available, the company originally called 小西屋六兵衛店(Konishiyarokube-ten). In 1921, 小西屋六兵衛店 reformed its company, it was changed into limited partnership company called 小西六本店(Konishiroku honten). Nowadays, Konishiroku has transformed into worldwidely famous camera company called "Konica minolta".
In 1938, Nazi germany and Japan having started to expand their territories. The second world war erupted in the west and the east of the world. Imperial Japanese government legislated national mobilisation law to put the entire country's economy into wartime footing. Konishiroku was producing "Semi Pearl" under the national mobilisation law's limitation. This Semi Pearl is not like the version which made by its sister company called "Rokuohsha". The significant difference of Rokuohsha made Semi Pearl is the colour of frame being silver.
The lens of the camera were Hexar 75mm F4.5. Shutter is Durax (T, B, 1-1/100 sec).
This camera has multiple scratches and stains. The portion of the lens have some mold and dust, so cleaning is needed. Original case is included.
The shipping fee of air mail is USD$95, the fee of sea mail is USD$33.
Sea mail is a default setting.
