This 1930's vintage calendar template print is titled “The High Sign” by Gil Elvgren.  Gil Elvgren (1914-1980) was an American painter of pin-up girls, advertising and illustration.

"The High Sign" is 11” x 23.25” in size and is in good condition.  It has a small tear on the right lower side of the template that does not affect the image.  It would make a good 11"x14" inch framed picture.

Chuck Olson Collection

Chuck Olson spent over 40 years collecting and traveling the United States in search of unique vintage prints.  He was especially interested in prints that were printed for use on calendars in the "Age of the Calendar" from 1900-1960. Chuck amassed a collection of well over 10,000 framed and unframed prints before his death.  Please feel free to contact me with any questions about the item.
