Also part of this offer is a vintage (5 x 7) toned, matte, black and white photo with a printed Mama Jean
autograph, in white.
PLEASE NOTE : Jean Harlow was not one to sign autographs, it is very well documented that her mother
did 99% of the signing for her daughter, thus the mention signed by Mama Jean Harlow. Original signature
from this artist are EXTREMELY hard to find. Her mother's handwriting was more elegant than was Jean
Harlow's, her death at only 26 years of age in her prime, is why you wont find any signatures from the REAL
Jean Harlow on the market, we got this beauty from an old original autograph book containing most of the
signatures from Movie Stars of the 1930's to 1940's Hollywood time period. We will be listing all
of them in separate offers, some of them have already been sold. Most of the autographs are dedicated to
Carol or Carol Fox, who was a US Postmaster in those years, who was serious about collecting autographs from
Movie Stars, his position did surely help in that manner :)
This one single page is the Holy Grail of the Carol Fox collection.
*Harlow died in the hospital at the age of 26. In the doctor's press releases, the cause of death was given as cerebral edema,
a complication of kidney failure. Hospital records mention uremia.
