These stands are made of heavy steel. They are intended to be mounted to a wall, shelf or other surface you can imagine. The 3" pin piece moves on a ball, so you can adjust it to fit your need, then tighten it down with the thumb screw.  These are NOT free standing. They must be secured to something to work as a stand. Wall mount screws and anchors are not included, stands only.
