50th anniversary of the experimental flight to connect Montreal mails to trans-Atlantic ships departing from Rimouski. This is the return leg from Rimouski.
Rimouski CDS cancel. Blue cachet in French or English on front with opposite cachet on back. On white airmail envelope. Canada #733 franking.
These flight anniversary covers were produced over a 15 year period starting in 1968. Most were produced by R.K. Malott. Some of the issues were flown and some were not; they are listed in Chapter 11 of the new AAMC Catalogue (recommended - you can get it through the APS).
