This keyboard dampening foam is made of Japanese LE-20 PORON polyurethane foam that has low compression residual deformation and high energy absorption, making it the perfect material for dampening pinging and other unwanted keyboard sounds. This plate dampening foam is best installed during a new keyboard build, as it needs to be installed between the plate and PCB, before the switches are soldered in. After a keyboard has already been built, this dampening foam can still be installed, but may require desoldering your switches first.
This product pairs great with our under-PCB case dampening foam found here: Keyboard Case Dampening Foam

This dampening foam is sized to fit all keyboards that follow the GH60 60% keyboard standards for size, and key/screw positions.
