Peonies are truly show stopping plants! They come in over 6000 varieties, bloom in every colour except blue, bear huge multi-layered flowers and can live for 100 years. Although each flower itself only lasts about a week, they are guaranteed to make a major splash in our cottage garden. With their sweet fragrance and bright petals, peonies are often regarded as the symbol of good fortune and happy marriage, and were historically used medicinally to treat a wide variety of ailments from headaches to asthma, and to ease childbirth.

Each of our vibrant pink, 100% eco-friendly soy wax candles is inspired by the peonies grown in our Isle of Arran coastal garden. We only use an organic, unbleached, natural hemp wick which has a beeswax coating and guarantees a slow, steady burn - if you can bear to actually burn it!

Please be aware that due to their size and the purity of our soy wax candles with their beeswax-coated hemp wick, they will burn efficiently. You should always set the candles on a dish or holder which can catch the wax as it melts and pools.
