Moorcroft’s Description.

After the Yosemite visit, Nicola visited Monterey on California’s coast. Monterey used to be the centre of the sardine fishing industry and so Nicola gave a small nod to this once thriving industry, part of so many in California’s past. She also took her family whale-watching from Moss Landing, not far from Monterey. ‘We had an amazing day seeing lots of whales and sea life. One of the highlights was a group of Orcas which swam alongside the boat. Such an incredible experience.’
