On the edge: W D L B DE BVDBERG CARVS AMICIS - NATVS D VIII OCT MDCCXL. Reverse: Tomb with a cross and a weeping woman. In the cut-off date of death: DEN D III IVL / MDCCLXXXIV On the edge: ARS AMICVM LVGET - PAVPER PRAESIDIVM. Medal minted by the Riga city council to commemorate the governor of Livonia; Baron Budberg. The medal was minted in the amount of 250 silver and a few gold on the occasion of funeral ceremonies. Silver. Old Nice Patina. Scratches. Hoffman 190; H-Cz. 6608 Ag. Weight approx: 27.07 g. Diameter: 42 mm.

A fantastic part of military history not to be missed at this low listing price. It would be extremely hard to find a much better example than these medals, medals weight a bit.
