Uses: all kinds of soft and hard wood, carbon steel, copper and aluminium and other metals, also can saw plastic, acrylic panels, etc.
Note: 5 inch 130mm wire saw blade installation and tensioning method:
1.saw blade installation: loosen the 2 hand screw on both sides of the saw blade installation seat, the saw blade from the saw blade seat of the round end face of the small hole inserted, because the saw blade is divided into 1-8#, the thickness difference is large, the installation hole clearance is through the hand screw and its back hexagonal screw at the same time control the saw blade insert clearance, if the replacement saw blade span is large, alone by loosening the hand screw can not be inserted, please hand screw the back hexagonal screw If the saw blade cannot be inserted by loosening the hand screw alone, please loosen the hexagonal head screw on the back of the hand screw with the 2.5mm hexagonal head provided.
2.Peal saw blade locking: Slide the saw's movable vertical brace into position to tighten the saw blade and lock the hand screw.
Caution:.
1. When installing, the saw blade should be taut, otherwise it will be easily pulled and broken when sawing.
Peal saw blade installation, inserted into the thin hole, is dependent on the back of the black hexagonal round head screw and the front of the hand screw together and tightly squeeze the saw blade, because the saw blade 1-8 thick and thin, so the thick saw blade installation may need to adjust the back of the hexagonal screw, otherwise it can not be inserted into the saw blade.
It can cut: bamboo sticks, acrylic (Plexiglas), miscellaneous wood, ebony, PPR pipes, thin aluminium pipes, thin copper pipes and bullhorns on home heaters. I have actually sawed these, and I can saw them. There is only a difference in speed.
Saw blade selection experience:
The harder the object, the thinner the blade. For metal, choose a thin one, for wood, a thick one. The thinner the blade, the faster the saw.
But some things, such as PPR, plastic, etc. It has to be coarse. Because their chips are sticky. A thin saw blade with small teeth can easily get stuck and slip.
The general rule is that 123 is suitable for metal, 4567 for wood and 8 for plastic.
Requirements: The saw blade must be taut, otherwise it will break easily. Function: For sawing arbitrary curved shapes.
How to tighten the saw blade with the saw bow (written for buyers who have not used it before):
After placing the saw blade in the correct position, do not tighten the fixing screws at both ends and put the sheep paste against the chest and gently pull the other end in front of you (gently pull). Remove the teeth from the saw. Then tighten the two screws again. After releasing your hand, the saw blade will be tightened.
The 8# saw blade is the thickest the saw can be fitted with, it is quite tight, so be patient when fitting it.
