Vintage MOTION PICTURE HERALD Magazine:

Motion Picture Herald. December 18, 1943

Nice fold-out poster ad for DESTINATION TOKYO.

The Movie Industry leads the way in patriotic Homefront propaganda. As the war progressed, this publication became increasingly centered on the war efforts, both at home and abroad. Because of this extensive coverage of the movie industry war effort, it is a valuable resource for anyone interested in researching the World War Two era.

Rare wartime advertising! Beautiful movie ads! Some on heavy stock paper! Pre-release Hype & Exploitation! Great insider articles, advance-hype movie ads and studio ads, some with box office numbers. Rare industry publication intended for movie theatre owners and operators, and not for the general public. WWII Homefront. Patriotic Propaganda. Censorship.

Cover has a little wear and soiling, small light scratches and scuff. One 1/2" x 1/4" hole near bottom edge at left. 1/8" tear at top spine-end. 1/4" tear at bottom spine-end.
