Noel Coward’s revue “Words and Music” premiered in Manchester in August 1932, before a run of 164 performances in London at the Adelphi Theatre, after which producer Charles B. Cochran took it back to the Manchester Opera House for a return visit, playing just two weeks from 13 March 1933. This sumptuous and rare eight-page flyer was produced to promote that second production. Many of the key cast members from London returned with the show, and are pictured inside the 5.5” by 9” flyer: Romney Brent who sang “Mad dogs and Englishmen”, Norah Howard who introduced “Mad about the boy” and Doris Hare.  New to the cast were Madeline Gibson and the extraordinary dancer Eve. The rare booklet, which includes photographs of Noël Coward and Cochran, is in lovely condition with a pencilled dates on the cover and inside and some other minor signs of wear. Please note that the front and back covers are identical.Shipping:  Please take a look at the shipping options offered.  If you want something not stated, such as TRACKED delivery to an international destination please ask for a quote.
