The Honeywell LYNXRCHKIT-SC is a standard capacity rechargeable battery backup for any Honeywell LYNX Series wireless alarm control panel. (L5000, L5100, L5200, L5210 and L7000)

The Honeywell LYNXRCHKIT-SC provides up to 4 hours of battery back in the event of an AC Power loss and should be replaced about every 5 years depending on how often you experience power outages. The alarm panel will indicate a "LOW BATTERY" trouble signal, however if your alarm system recently lost power, it could take up to 48 hrs to clear the trouble once power was restored. Once the battery is replaced, it may also take up to 48 hrs to clean this trouble once the battery is fully charged.*
