Today I will START listing about 150-200 vintage NASCAR racing hats, from the amazing collection of the late DAN GUIFFRE.   Most, BUT NOT ALL,  are autographed and were autographed in person, by the various drivers.  Mr. Guiffre was known for having one of the most elaborate and extensive NASCAR collections in the country.    Sheet metal, shirts, uniforms, helmets,  diecast, collectors cards, models etc. etc.      Today , I'm going to list what I believe are the oldest,  rarest  and most valuable hats, of which, there are about 20 of those.     This auction was attended by dealers and collectors from all over the USA and NOTHING came cheap.   I tell you this, so  nobody gets the bright idea to offer me $50 for a hat that I paid $150 for.  There is no Earnhardt stuff.  From his obituary and his family, as I understand it, he was a Ford guy and collected mostly Ford related driver items.  Of course, there are some hats,  that don't specify any particular driver, or manufacturer, but the overall race name instead.
