1901 OHIO HARDWARE ASSOCIATION CONVENTION BADGE ORIGINAL PACKAGE

A great convention badge for the 1901 meeting of the Ohio Hardware Association on the original card. The convention was held January 26,27,28th 1901 in Cincinnati, Ohio.  The ribbon has the Latin phrase "Juncta Juvant" which translates to "Together They Help".

Text on the card states:

Made by Theodore Neuhhaus & Co. Gold and Silversmiths, Lion Building, Fifth and Elm. Cincinnati, O.

Given the name of the manufacturer and the fact that where the gold layer has rubbed off the metal is a dark black color, I'm going to guess this badge MAY be made from gold plated silver.
