As seen in the pictures, the protective box is worn--from years of standing on the shelf in between other books, but it did its job in preserving the book and its pages. Features include a printed-in alphabetical guide on the fore-edge and colorful maps of English-speaking countries.  The book is an excellent guide for Japanese learners of English, with its precise definitions and examples of common usage of words, phrases and expressions.
