Antique Arts & Crafts Waste Paper Basket Wood & Brass Vase Planter Decor Trash.

Fantastic antique umbrella/walking stick stand or waste paper basket. That’s what it was called in the auction I bought it in. Could just as easily be a floor vase for putting dried grasses/faux plants or whatever type of decor stuff you like in. Its one solid hollowed out (by hand) section of wood with lots of hammered brass trim. Nearly 2ft tall at 23”. The cylinder is 8” in diameter. The legs make it a bit wider than that. Condition is very good. It has an arts and crafts era vibe to me. Possible the center barrel is much older though. Very nice piece, unique for sure. You’ll likely never see another I know that.
