"The type used in this book was composed on the Linotype and is 11 point Jansen. The book is printed on acid-free paper in an edition of 400 numbered and signed copies. The binding was done by hand using leather on the spine and French marble on the boards and as end-sheets. This is copy No. 6 For dear Phyllis - for all your support, faith and love. Gordon Curzon"; published in 1986 by Tabula Rasa Press, Morro Bay, California, with a *Foreword by Aeronwy Thomas-Ellis, 94pp., no dust jacket (as issued?), text generally in decent order albeit with very small creases to the top & bottom corners of some of the pages along with the odd crease & mark, slight staining/browning/foxing to the page extremities at the very top, bottom & side, spine very slightly cocked & rear board very slightly
warped, bumping & rubbing to board corners at the top - noticeably heavier to those at the bottom, some bumping & rubbing to the top, bottom & sides of boards & spine (especially the top which is quite heavily rubbed and also has a couple of minute splits), bumping & rubbing to spine edges on front & rear, the spine is bit marked & bumped with slight fading/loss to the lettering, both boards are marked, bumped & rubbed. A most unusual book.



NB: Also includes two loose letters from the author: one, dated 1 May 1986) to the above-mentioned Phyllis (K. De'Ath, of Cadogan Square, London) regarding the book; the other, dated 1 August 1987, a wedding poem "FOR MELODY AND CHRISTOPHER".
