  • This is a stained-glass kaleidoscope made by award-winning scope maker, Nedra Reed. 

  • This scope is a kevel spinner kaleidoscope that spins on a horizontal plane. The sculptured wheel on the end creates the images within the scope, when the wheel is turned horizontally.   The scope is about 6.5 long and the sides are about an inch high. There is a magnifier in the eye piece to create a great image!!

  • This scope has a teacher, education, graduation theme. It is made of ais made from a beautiful blue and white iridescent glass. Iridescent glass is a reflective glass that has a rainbow sheen, somewhat like mother of pearl.  On one side is brass wire and a pottery apple. On the other is brass wire and a fused glass chalk board, with "1+2=3".  All the fused glass and pottery were made by this artist in her kiln and then incorporated into this one-of-a-kind scope. The wheel on the end has a brass schoolhouse, a brass board with an arithmetic problem and a pewter ABC.
