I AM NOT SELLING A KIT, just new, full-size copies of TWO 42" span 1/2A RC model airplane PLANS. As is the case with nearly all of my plans, these copies are made directly from my vintage originals.

This is Jess Krieser's marvelous 1/2A RC CESSNA SKYLANE design from back in 1964. It is a really great trainer with rudder-only control that can be so easily converted to 2 or 3 channels. The ample dihedral in the wings allows it to roll out of turns into a nice level flight.

THIS JESS KRIESER MODEL IS THE SAME SIZE AS THE CLASSIC GOLDBERG 1/2A SCALE KIT SKYLANE OF WHICH I INCLUDE A COPY. THE KIT PLAN DOES NOT HAVE ALL OF THE PARTS PATTERNS SHOWN ON IT AS DOES THE JESS KRIESER PLAN.

The swept-back rudder (which is true-to-scale) allowed the rudder to act like an elevator and tip the nose up slightly when in a turn. This prevented a spiral downward in turns. The Kreiser PLAN has all of the necessary parts patterns shown.

In the 1960s Pop was flying Army T-41 Cessna CARDINALS. Naturally, he covered his SKYLANE model with Monokote in the same olive drab and dayglo color scheme. That's Pop standing beside one of the T-41s he flew---which was just one of 26 different types of aircraft he flew while in the Army. The flight-line shot of a row of T-41s was at Fort Rucker, AL. They were used as primary trainers when all of the L-19 (O-1) Bird dogs were sent to Vietnam. Pop’s vintage Goldberg RC SKYLANE model flew so well that I have kept it in the workshop ever since as a trainer.

As a BONUS I also include copies of a nice 3-view document and instrument panel detail from the SKYLANE owner’s manual.

I AM NOT SELLING A KIT, only a new, full-size copy of Jess Krieser's original article and magazine PLAN & a copy of Goldberg's 42" model kit PLAN.

YOU ARE PURCHASING TWO NICE, CLEAN, WHITE, NEW FULL-SIZE COPIES OF THE 1/2A RC SKYLANE PLANS, KRIESER'S CONSTRUCTION ARTICLE + BONUS DOCUMENTATION FOLDED IN A MANILA ENVELOPE.
