World War I (1914) Commemorative Cufflinks

These are a beautiful pair of cufflinks made with genuine Imperial German Empire (Deutsches Reich) two pfennig coins dated from 1914, over 105 years ago commemorating the First World War.  This pair of cufflinks are made from two copper two pfennig coins showing both the obverse (Imperial Eagle with shield) and reverse (date and value) of the coins.  The cufflinks are made with a swivel back with an attractive diamond pattern on the swivel and are 20 mm in diameter.

They represent a unique part of history being minted in the year the First World War began.  The German Empire (Deutsches Reich) two pfennig coins have been carefully cleaned to retain the original character of the coins whilst highlighting the details and date of these original 109 year-old coins.
