Produced by Samson of Paris the cup and saucer in the style of Chinese export porcelain of the 18^th Century but produced late 19^th Century

The cup measures10.4cm across the rim.

Both beautifully decorated in polychrome enamels and gilding and marked with a faux Chinese mark on the base

Both pieces in excellent antique condition with no chips, crazing or signs of wear. The saucer has a star shaped, glaze only crack on the back within the foot rim. With three long and two short legs it is 100% only in the glaze and does not show on the front in daylight or through transmitted light.

Look as though they have been kept in a cabinet on display.
